Pakistan Independence Day Flag Raising Ceremony

Join Birmingham’s civic leaders, community representatives, and the public as the Pakistan flag is raised to mark the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan.

Hosted by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, the ceremony includes the national anthems of Pakistan and the United Kingdom and will be attended by the Consul General of Pakistan, civic leaders, and distinguished guests. This free public event celebrates the enduring friendship between Pakistan and the United Kingdom and the contribution of British Pakistanis to Birmingham’s diverse communities.
