Shehrbano Ka Ranjha – A captivating new production from Raqs Arts that weaves together storytelling, live music, poetry, and dance to create an immersive journey into the heart of Punjab’s rich cultural traditions.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of rural Punjab, the performance follows the story of Shehrbano, a spirited young woman whose destiny becomes entwined with that of a mysterious flute player. Inspired by the enduring tradition of Punjabi folklore, it explores themes of love, memory, and human connection through evocative storytelling and a powerful live musical score.

Featuring acclaimed flautist Ali Shair as Ranjha and Ravneet Kaur as Shehrbano, the production is written and produced by Mona Shafique, with live music, poetry, and traditional Punjabi folk songs creating a rich and unforgettable theatrical experience.
